The Reverberation Appreciation Society must be one of my favourite labels this year. Organisers of the Austin Psych Fest, which I desperately need to attend one of these years, their releases take up a fair percentage of the records I’ve been adding to my collection in the past few months. Two of the albums that will most likely be in my end of year list are from The Reverberation Appreciation Society’s catalogue: Christian Bland & The Revelators‘ Pig Boat Blues, and The UFO Club‘s The UFO Club. And what about that name?

And then there are the singles: The Meek, The Vacant Lots, and this one by Cosmonauts, from Orange County, CA. Brilliant psych pop, on their third release this year, after the 7″ “Emerald Green” on Bad Afro, and the If You Wanna Die Then I Wanna Die LP on Burger.
Damn I need those.
