Soleado 257 – ¡Grande Cifu! – 24/3/15

This week Señorlobo & Lubacov improvised a tribute to the great Cifu, the legendary jazz radio show host who sadly passed away last week, thanking him for so many hours of jazz and wisdom. Cifu opened the doors to jazz to many of us, who then went on to find their own way. There are tunes by Oscar Peterson, Lou Rawls, Monty Alexander, Sun Ra, Donald Byrd, and many more – he probably wouldn’t have played some of them, but thanks to Cifu we can play them today. Legend!
