To take a classic song and turn it into a classic of your own, now that’s class. The Residents did it with “Kaw-Liga”, using the “Billy Jean” bassline and a couple of nasty keyboard stabs. Both songs are originally by Hank Williams and can be found on the Stars and Hank Forever album.
