This is one from my mother’s collection, although I think it wasn’t originally hers, either. I think it used to be my biological father’s. He was a big country fan – I remember him playing country records on Sunday morning right after the Ko de Boswachtershow. During my adolescence I really couldn’t stand this kind of music, but I got over it and started appreciating it. It’s still not something I can listen to for hours on end though. Especially when it’s slick like Gentleman Jim’s stuff.
