Ben Lamdin hooked up with Keith and Julie Tippett for a fine jazz album, simply titled Nostalgia 77 Sessions Featuring Keith & Julie Tippett, which was released last February, and this 45 has two track off it on it. The album is ace, you should get it. Keith Tippett is one of the giants of jazz, and Julie Tippett used to be Julie Driscoll – love that voice. “Indian Ropeman”, a track by Julie Driscoll and Brian Auger & The Trinity is probably one of the records I have played out most – one of those “don’t leave home without it” records.
