The first time I heard Pigbag's "Papa's Got a Brand New Pig Bag" was on TV. The song was used as the intro of a Dutch program on (underground) youth culture in the eighties called Je ziet maar. My mother didn't like it because they talked about sex and punk and stuff. I was about thirteen so I had to see it, if only to go against my mum's wishes. I always loved the song, and when it was played on school disco nights or even at the carnival parties at the local "alternative" youth club I danced my ass off to it.

Many years later I found the single in some ramsj in Spain and to my surprise the B-side held the sample I was intrigued by on Instrümental's "100 Pies". Which was nice.
