Over here you'll find a dozen or so future compilations made by the good people of La Blogothèque. I'm happy to be one of them. You can register and choose one compilation you'd like to receive. In return, you send La Blogothèque two compilations of your own (two copies of the same compilation, that is). You'll get two as well, but two different ones. So you choose one and you'll get another two, the second being a surprise.
I have the sleeve and the title ready, but I still haven't decided which tracks to put on it. Go on, register, you know you want to. And don't be scared of the French words, French is great. you should learn French, because it's going to be the main language in the European Union. At least, that's what the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie wants.
I used to speak French, but I lost the words on my way through Spain. I speak Spanish now. Spanish rules. Have you seen that wedding? I haven't. Friends of mine made this abanico (does that really translate as "fan"?) especially for the wedding (see pic). They wanted to hand them out on the Puerta del Sol on the Big Day. I think they should've made umbrellas.

What was I saying? Ah yes, the Blogomix. Go on, go there.
wat 'appan?
So this site has been offline for a couple days. Again. So was my mail server. Dunno what happened, something prolly barfed when them boys over at JaguarPC were doing their maintenance. Whatever.
Not that I was really able to post anything here, 'cept for some ads. I have been ridiculously busy in the past couple weeks, writing and translating the booklet for 10 days off/5 days off. As usual, I had started too late, and they had given me some vital info on a very last minute basis as well, so it wasn't all my fault.
I keep telling myself.
As a result, ze girlfriend was (not really, but a little bit) angry at me because I spent about 20 hours a day in front of ze computah, not sleeping, taking way too heavy painkillers to make the pains in my neck and arms go away. Now my back is fucked and if I spend more than an hour in front of the screen I get dizzy and some guy inside my head starts banging my skull because he wants to get out. Well, he can't.
Anywayz, it's almost over now, there's just a wee bit of work left. In about a week and a half ze girlfriend and I are off to the no doubt lovely island of Sardegna. First we're going to visit ze friend in Genova (oh yeah, hey Gio, we're coming your way), then we're going to visit this festival in Cagliari, and then we're going to see the countryside.
Woo! I say, woo!

the phoenix from the flame

chezlubacov's been away for a while, due to i don't know what 'cause nobody really explained anything to me.
a couple mails got lost, so if you sent me any but didn't get an answer, i probably haven't received them.
bossampboogiefiddler
Bossa Boogie was incredibly d-o-p-e! we'll definitely do it again some time.
amp fiddler [pic by anniek] yesterday @ les nuits botanique was, again, rather brilliant, too. pity they could only play for half an hour, to make place for some très shitty french band.
on a festival like les nuits it becomes pretty clear wallonia and flanders are two different worlds. there's a lot of french bands on the festival i had never heard of before - you don't hear them on flemish radio, you don't see them on flemish tv. but at les nuits they are being received like heroes, like people have been dying to see them. and they all sing along to the songs. and laugh at the singers' pretty bad jokes. weird.
not too many people seemed to know the amp though, but he got them to get funky anyway. of course. you gotta love that guy.
need to get out more
some people.
strange things a gwaan over @ breedster's: check fraser's. wilfully infecting other bugs? blimey.
away with bug kind i tell you.
update: some fuckhead infected me, too. i cannot live like this. this bugz life has got to end.
Thank you all from the pit of my burning nauseous stomach for your testimonials and private messages. I'm too much of an erratic moody bug and I don't have the passion anymore and remember, it's better to burn out than to fade away. For my kids, for their lives will be so much happier without me. I love you. I love you.
